My Godfather
My Godfather was very special to me, whom I miss a lot because he is no longer with us. When he past that was a time in my life that I didn't think I was going to ever be able to get through. It's been hard even though it's been 3 yeas now, I remember it just like yesterday. I miss him because he was like a cool dad that I never had and I was the daughter that he never had. So I was special to him for that reason. He was funny and made people laugh and he was the glue to his family and I appreciated that from him because I was able to learn the importance of family. He was some that I could always talk to and he would never judge me for decisions that I would make. He supported my schooling and education. He impacted my life strongly. He would always talk to me about the good boys and the bad boys. He taught me what to look for in a man and in choosing a husband. He was the replacement father for my natural father, he was the father figure that I never got from my natural father and for that I will always love him and cherish his memories.

ReplyDeleteI know how it feels to lose someone who is special to you. It was my Aunt Rita. I think about her everyday. I can still hear her tell me Alice you can do anything you put your mine to. Just do it! She was alway there for me growing up also when I was grown up with my own family. It is great to say we have been loved by the best. We are going to show this love through our work working with our children.
When you been love by the best it makes it all the easy to give the best love to others. It's not hard to love someone with all of your best. So, yes I do agree with you, we will show love through out our career. Showing the same love we received as children growing up is the best thing that we can do for the children that we encounter through our working years to come.
